This prompt seemed to jump out at me. I don't think it was my best pick to complete a line but it was definitely the one calling out to me.

I've signed up for Sentinel Bingo. I hope to get at least a line (or two) in before this round ends, a full house would be great but we'll see how I get on.

Here’s my February calendar artwork for the Korean TV series Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. I thought I’d do something a little different to my usual choice of SG1, SGA or TS this time round, so I hope you'll like it.

I decided to include 2 versions of the calendar because I personally prefer the simplicity of the cropped version more than the full sized wall. I’ve also included a de-calendarized version too.

I signed up for Fandom Stocking last year, I didn't do much in the grand scheme of things but I thought I'd share what I made here anyway.

As one of my resolutions I decided to make at least 1 piece of artwork per month because otherwise I don't seem to do anything, and a small target is better than no target in my eyes so lets see how I get on with it. Fingers crossed I won't give up.

I'm jumping off with a calendar (which I hope to do monthly aswell) and a non-calendar piece for MacGyver. I'm not very happy with the calendar template (or placement) I created this month and I'm hoping to improve on it for next month. :D

Here's a few pieces of art I made for the drabble days on TS Secret Santa. I'm not sure how the reveals are working with the extravaganza but I figure as they've been online a few days now I'm good to post them here too.

To reveal the full size version on the artwork click on the images below, please note that the gifs are already displayed in full size.

Here's some icons I’ve made based on the 'Fool Me Twice, Languages, Poachers, Upside Down, The Trance, Duo, Most Wanted, Multiply ' challenges on ts_icontest. I've included a couple of full size versions of the multiply icons at the end, so you can get the full effect of them as I believe some of it was lost in conversion.

Here's my second attempt for the MOS prompt 'Panic'. I think it will also work for 'Watching Helplessly' on my Bingo Card so I'm using it there too.

Here's an episodic wall for Singularity which I made for the MOS prompt 'Panic'. I think it will also work for 'Terrible Choices' on my Bingo Card so I'm using it there too.

As Adobe won't work on my PC I downloaded Affinity on a 10 trial and came up with this. It's not a bad alternative and I like the fact I don't have to pay a monthly subscription. :D

Here's an episodic wall for Fool Me Twice, which I think will work for 'A Murder To Solve' on my Bingo Card.

I am so totally pissed off with Windows 10!!! First it knackered my computer and re-formatting wouldn't solve the problem so I had to buy a new one one, and now it won't let me load my Adobe software. I am SO not happy right now.

Out of interest, what software do other Windows 10 users have on their PC's? Anyone care to recommend anything?

I haven't posted in what feels like a lifetime because the muse hasn't been around much, but she made an appearance today so I made some artwork for the SGA episode Suspicion. The bigger version looks better than the squinty one. :D

I've not posted anything for a while so thought I'd post a little something I made back in October last year. I set the challenge on LF to make artwork for the episode 2x01 - Flight but then never got round to sharing them. The second wall feels kinda dark to me but I quite like the surreal feel that the colour tones add to it, so I've stayed with them even though I'm not overly keen on them.

I'm still looking to fill my bingo cards, do you think the second wall would work for 'Chosen One'?

stargatesg1971: (misc - writing)
I'm more of an artist than a writer but I've always wondered if I could write a horror story so this year I signed up for Spook Me. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish the story in time for the comms deadline, but it's complete now so I'm posting here.

I made these walls back in September for the WW challenge on Lost Fandoms. At the time I couldn't decide which version I preferred the most so I entered them both. Looking back on them now I think I prefer the first one.

The challenge requirements are listed below:

Theme: Joy
Character : G Callan
Main Color : Purple
Object : Nature @ Dawn Productions
Texture : by Lesley
Quote: Your choice if you'd like to add something:)

Icons made for Round 71 on tvcharacter20. For those of you unfamiliar with the series, dime novelist Ernest Pratt assumes the persona of his noble literary hero, Nicodemus Legend, and roams the Old West with his scientist friend Dr. Janos Bartok.

You're welcome to snag and use any of the icons below. If you use them at your LJ please credit [livejournal.com profile] stargatesg1971 in the keywords as usual in LJ etiquette, if you use them elsewhere, please link back to this LJ. No direct or hot linking please. Thanks!

This wall was created in response to topic challenge 2 on Lost Fandoms. The challenge was/is to make a wall (or walls) for as many of the actors listed below as you want. You were/are allowed to use any work from their filmography but must ensure that the artwork was/is based on the selected topic: HUMOUR. The actors chosen for this round are still: Mark Harmon, Joe Flanigan, Anthony Starke, George Clooney and Dennis Quaid.

This is actually my second entry even though I'm posting it first LOL. I selected O Brother, Where Art Thou! as up until recently I hadn't made a George Clooney wall and as he was my actor of choice I figured I better do something. *grins* I know the files a bit big so it may take a while to load, apologies for that, but if I reduced the resolution it totally sucked. After saving and ditching the PSD file I realise I could have shrunk the overall size down but didn't. *face palm* Oh well, it is what it is now. It's worth watching the gif on full screen to appreciate the animation, or at least I think it is.

For those unfamiliar with the movie here's a quick summary: Ulysses Everett McGill (George Clooney), a suave, fast-taking convict, escapes from incarceration in Mississippi during the Great Depression. He is chained to two other prisoners, so the three must escape together.

In all honesty I never made it past 10 minutes with this film, it’s not my cup of tea at all. That being said there was a scene near the beginning that made me chuckle and I focussed on that for the artwork. Hope it gives you a laugh.
