Very, very nice! Tell me, what did you use for your coloursplash ones? I only had Focal B&W. I'm assuming you have something more sophisticated to do yours? They are so skilful! :))

Thanks for the lovely feedback, hon. I'm glad you liked them.

I use Photoshop Elements 15 to make icons. For the colour splash challenge I tweaked the colour tones to what I wanted and then duplicated the layer twice, made the first layer bw and left the second layer in colour, cut out what I wanted in colour and deleted the rest of the layer so it overlayed the bw which ended up with the desired effect.

There is an option in Photoshop Elements 15 that does something similar to Focal BW but I prefer the control I get over the final image using the process above.

Yes, perfect sense, thank you! I thought it must be something like Elements, to get the precision, which you certainly don't get with focal B&W! One day I am going to have to tackle Photoshop, but it all sounds a bit complicated... ;)
