Beth's Retreat Primarily Features: The Sentinel, SG1, SGA and Richard Dean Anderson

As my third entry for topic challenge 1 (family) on Lost Fandoms I selected One Fine Day with George Clooney. I think this wall also works for challenge 2 (humour) as well. I love this film, the children are adorable in it and it's a lovely romance, this particular scene is one of my favourite moments from the film. I hope you'll like it. I know the blending isn't all that great.

If you're not familiar with this movie here's a quick summary: Melanie Parker, an architect and mother of Sammy, and Jack Taylor, a newspaper columnist and father of Maggie, are both divorced. They meet one morning when overwhelmed Jack is left unexpectedly with Maggie and forgets that Melanie was to take her to school.

This wall is my second response to image challenge 6 on Lost Fandoms. You were allowed to make whatever you wanted but the base image had to remain the focal point of the artwork.

I created a wall out of the base image I used for one of the 'summer' icons I entered on ts_icontest. I've tweaked with the colour tones and lighting etc. to give a different feel to the icon. I'm not sure how I feel about it now but figured I'd post it none-the-less.

As my second entry for topic challenge 1 on Lost Fandoms I selected Freaky Friday with Mark Harmon. I adore this film and in all honestly, any and all versions of it. :D What can I say? I'm easily pleased. LOL. When creating this piece I tried to project a 'freaky' feel to it, so I played with the colour tones and layout accordingly. I hope you'll like it.

If you're not familiar with this movie here's a quick summary: Dr. Tess Coleman and her 15 year old daughter Anna are not getting along. One Thursday evening, at a Chinese restaurant, they both read a fortune that switches their bodies and minds. The next morning, their Friday gets really freaky when Tess and Anna find that they have switched bodies. I think this works for the prompt 'supernatural happenings' so I'm using it on my round 9 bingo card. :D

I’m not familiar with this show at all so I have no idea how ‘off the mark’ I am with this one; hubby tells me it’s a bit like Buffy so I went with that theme. *shrugs*

I've decided to use this as my 'co-workers' square for round 9's Bingo card.

I thought I'd play with The Sentinel for this square and use a scene from The Rig. I know I'm cheating a little (ok, a lot) because it's not raining in the original scene but it is windy and stormy so I figure I can get away with adding a little rain to it. :D

I decided to make a simple piece for this prompt and opted for the character's fear to project their 'dread' of what's the come. His eyes and facial expression tell a story all on their own, or at least they do to me. It's a scene from Arthur's Bane Part 1 where Gwaine is being chased by a wolf.
