I hate Windows 10

I am so totally pissed off with Windows 10!!! First it knackered my computer and re-formatting wouldn't solve the problem so I had to buy a new one one, and now it won't let me load my Adobe software. I am SO not happy right now.

Out of interest, what software do other Windows 10 users have on their PC's? Anyone care to recommend anything?

*mega hugs* I'm not sure why you've had so many problems with it, the only one we've had is that the media player won't play DVDs anymore, so I had to download the VLC player for that. Not everyone has had that problem either, so *shrugs* It all seems a bit odd. *more hugs*

My favourite atm is pixlr, I use the Express version. It doesn't limit some of the effects to paid members only like some sites, all of them are available for free.

I also use befunky for some things, but more and more of that is no longer free to use, it's getting ridiculous!

Picmonkey is another that I've used, but again, more and more of it is no longer free, I've got a bit fed up with it. Still, it can be useful for a few things, like rounded edges (in the 'borders' section, both transparent and not).

I think the latter two might have free trials, but I'm not positive. All of them are online software (ie, you upload your artwork and work on it online, and then save back to your computer afterwards). Hope this helps!

I have Adobe CC on Windows 10 running fine, though I haven't tried earlier versions.

It sounds like it might be a compatibility issue then.

CC is by subscription only I'm afraid. It sucks, but it's industry standard. :/

You might be able to purchase older versions from 3rd party sellers.

Yeah, I cannot get older versions of Paintshop Pro to work on Windows 10 either.

And yet my old Paintshop Pro 7.4 works fine on Windows 10. Which just goes to show that Windows 10 seems to affect different computers in different ways. Very odd.

I’m 2 months late at reading this. Sorry! For what’s worth after so many weeks, I use Windows 10 and the latest Photoshop CC just fine. I pay an yearly fee for the Photography plan, that let me run their software in 2 computers at the same time. I use it under Windows 10 on my desktop and under MacOS Sierra on my laptop (Macbook pro).
I use Procreate on my iPads Pro. Also have Affinity on them but haven’t tried it yet.

As of what other software I use under Windows 10:
Filter Forge and LucisArt, VLC, ImgBurn, Handbrake, Irfanview, CCleaner, Duplicate Cleaner Pro, Chrome, Avast Internet Suite, Malwarebytes’ Antimalware...
I’m sure I’m forgetting about some but I’n not at home so I can’t check my desktop.
