Well for starters, I am not really familiar with *men's* ring boxes so that would be one issue. But more what I meant was it was not clear enough where slashers would see it that way and none slashers would still be able to not see it that way. But as for obvious, ring boxes I am familiar with have rounded corners so an actual square, non descript box doesn't automatically scream ring to me.
